The Story
Little Tunde was born with a congenital heart defect (Ventricular Septal Defect), commonly known as a hole in the heart. At just 8 months old, he experiences difficulty breathing and poor weight gain.
Cardiologists have referred him for an open-heart surgery in India. The total cost, including travel for him and his mother, visa fees, and the surgery itself, is estimated at N5,000,000. Tunde’s parents are civil servants and cannot afford this amount.
